Sedation Dentistry
We know that many people are afraid that their needed dental care may be painful, so they delay until things get worse. Besides being experts in providing numerous effective techniques in local anesthesia (numbing of the teeth and gums), we can provide sedation that puts you in a very relaxed state. Dr. McLendon and Dr. Fitzer have had extensive training in providing you with both profound local anesthesia and sedation, so you will be comfortable throughout your treatment. Restorative Dentistry
Following a complete dental examination and X-rays, we can determine if you have any dental needs. We listen to your concerns and give you our best recommendations. You may want a whiter smile or you may want to have damaged teeth repaired. We can provide porcelain crowns or tooth colored fillings. Missing teeth can be replaced with crowns or bridges over implants or with partial or complete dentures.

Gum Treatments (Periodontal Therapy)
During your examination, we will evaluate your gums to determine the best treatment. We will discuss your options and be sure you understand how to best proceed. When gum disease is present, we will always attempt to control any progression of the disease by first using a non-surgical approach. Our philosophy is to make periodontal surgery a last option. We use only state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to get your gums healthy again.

Children’s Dentistry
Children have similar needs as compared to adults. Cleaning and fluoride treatments along with protective sealants are the best ways to prevent most dental problems. We will also provide fillings, stainless-steel crowns, pulpotomies and extractions for children. If we detect problems with the development or arrangement of the teeth, our doctors will refer your child for an orthodontic evaluation.

Oral Surgery
Wisdom teeth are problems for most people. Our doctors can diagnose and treat most of these situations. We usually provide sedation for those patients who require the removal of their wisdom teeth. Our doctors can also provide treatment for the extraction of other teeth, especially when these teeth cannot be restored.

If a root canal is required, our doctors have the latest equipment available. You can be comfortable during this treatment. Root canal treatments are designed to make you feel better and to allow your tooth to again be an important part of your dentition. In most cases, it is better to repair a tooth in this manner rather than to lose the tooth.
